Fortnite actually has several similarities to another battle royale video game known as PUBG. PUBG is more likely to be known as the first notable and recognized battle royale video game. However, over the past couple months, many individuals who are gamers would agree that even though PUBG is the first recognized battle royale game, Fortnite has dominated and brought attention to individuals who love battle royale video games.

PUBG is a multiplayer game that is compatible with PC gamers. PUBG is developed and published by PUBG Corporation, but it has assistance from Bluehole. The director of the game is Brendon Greene and he created the idea of the game, says the wikipedia.

Both Fortnite and PUBG have similar loot which entails finding weapons, a medicine kit, or power ups which is basically known as a shield.
Another similarity that both Fortnite and PUBG have is the ability to survive.
On the other hand, there are some differences between the two games.PUBG has a more realistic outlook in terms of the weapons, the equipment, and the characters. In PUBG you’re more likely to use cars, and trucks to travel around.But, Fortnite, depicts a more cartoonist view, the gameplay is a bit more animated.
