WHY I PICK 1BHK SUPERBAR OVER OTHERS EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Staying at balewadi high street has its own perks. With a vide exotic range of cuisines, I’m being spoilt for choices. Although i like to experiment and try new cuisines, when it comes to visiting a tried and tested place, i happen to choose 1BHK superbar every single time. The experience is opulent and consistent which is always on top of my priority list.

◦ AMBIENCE
1BHK is shorthand B(ar) H(aute) and K(itchen). The two storeyed establishment screams beauty the moment you lay your eyes on the unique interiors. May it be the collection of antiques, set up at the entrance or the extravagant ceiling decorated with wooden chamfers. Every corner has a soothing vibe to it. The quite and calm placed by the day turns into a lit night club as the evening melts into darkness and 1BHK shines the brightest

Making food or beverage choices will be a tedious task. The menu is fairly elaborate and each option sounds just as exotic as the other.
I ordered a watermelon mojito (₹300/-)
The classic drink not only quenched my thirst but pleased the eye as well. The right combination of the sweet and sour flavour is ample to tickle your taste buds.

1BHK jerk chicken (₹315/-)
A plate full of chunks which are fragrant, fiery hot and smoky all at once. Served with layers of mayo to calm down the taste buds and salad soaked in vinegar to add some tinge to the dish.
Butter chicken nazza (₹350/-)
I asked the waiter the special dish of this place and he recommended this dish. A contemporary attempt to find a mid space between a pizza and a naan, clubbing the western tastes to that of the eastern delights, this dish definitely became a huge conquerer in my list. I personally like the attempt but would love to have a bit more western touch to it. The nan part overpowered the pizza part but the toppings in form of juicy chicken chunks made up for it. Special mention to the mint chutney which i think was perfect.
Herb grilled soul fish in bloody mary shots (₹425/-)
Six shot glasses filled with small cubes of green apple, red apple, cucumber,iceberg lettuce covering a luscious chunk of grilled fish dipped in tomato juice and tabasco. No huge fan of this dish but you’ll surely find a bengali friend if you have one go head over heels for this one.
Butter chicken platter (₹475/-)
This was the star of the day. Thick rich butter chicken served either naan or lachcha paratha is something you’ll find at many places across the city but to serve perfectly fragrant jeera rice and amazing daal makhani is sure to make any north indian go back to his roots and enjoy a honey heaven on a plate
◦ DESSERTS
Philadelphia blueberry cheesecake (₹245/-)
Another must try. The dessert lovers would definitely order it twice i bet it. A thick creamy base which is topped with a blueberry crush.

Overall I would give a highlight to this place with a posh ambiance, convenient location, droolicious food and above average beverage earns 1BHK superbar a superhit!
